Drenthe Growers (NL) Reference project

Drenthe Growers is a family business that specialises in growing cucumbers. After one of their greenhouses partially collapsed due to heavy snowfall, the cucumber growers of Drenthe Growers were forced to build a new greenhouse.

The new 3,4 ha greenhouse is located in Erica in the Netherlands. A greenhouse model with single-sided continuous ridge ventilation was chosen. The greenhouse roof only has ventilation windows on the north side that are fitted with insect netting. This allows the greenhouse to be closed to unwanted insects such as lice and birds.
